This is the perfect role for someone who wants to transition into an advisory position without the pressure of finding new clients right away. We value a "we first, not me first" attitude and are committed to serving both our clients and each other.
In this fast-paced role, you'll be a key point of contact for our clients, correspond with prospects, and assist with research and presentations. You'll also maintain documentation and databases, and assist with other lines of business as needed.
We're looking for someone with some experience in financial services or business, but it's not required. We value initiative, analytical and critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication and organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serving as a key point of contact for the firm’s clients, providing financial reviews and annual investment evaluations
- Corresponding with prospects and clients via email, phone, virtual meetings, other
- Developing and maintaining documentation of all prospect and client activity, monitoring new business
- Staying in regular contact with the lead advisor and team members, keeping apprised of progress and areas of opportunity
- Assisting with research and development, preparing presentations to prospects and clients
- Updating and maintaining various databases for client relationship management and to organize client records and case files
- Assist in other lines of business such as life insurance, as needed.
- Other as necessary
EXPERIENCE:
- Some experience as either a financial services professional (preferred, not required), or undergraduate experience in business or a financial internship or co-operative program
- FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63, (and 65 if part of a Registered Investment Advisory firm) is a plus, not required until obtained on the job
- Life and health insurance license is a plus, not required until obtained on the job
- Previous sales experience is helpful

- Proficient with MS Office
